What better gift women could have expected than an all women bike rally that is being held in Kolkata. To celebrate the occasion of international women’s day, popular Bengali daily Ei Samay along with Hero Pleasure has organized an “All Women Bike Rally”.
On this day the whole city will witness the first of its kind women bike rally, this initiative has really helped to get the female riders a platform to show their courage and expertise.
When we take a deep look at our history, one can easily find several examples of women’s bravery and courage. A saga of tales has been written and discussed about women power and strength. Goddess Durga is a female herself and the same powers are believed to be inbuilt in every female. So how can girls be left behind?
Well, where bikes were a thing which only males thought they can tackle, female riders have proved them wrong. They prove them wrong every time when an argument comes up, as women are shining in every field now; you name it and the girls are ruling that section.
Starting from the governing body of our country to the police department, India’s representation in international sports to mountain trekkers who have climbed Mt Everest, women are surely sharing an equal space with men at every point.
This time Kolkata will witness the free spirit of all the powerful women riding their bikes free from any restrictions. It's time to appreciate women riders and support this initiative.
